Dr. Klein earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at Tulane University, continuing on to earn his medical degree and a Master’s of Public Health in Health Systems Management at Tulane University. After graduating, Dr. Klein completed an internship in General Surgery as well as a residency in Urology at the Dallas-based University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
As part of his ongoing education in the field of urology, Dr. Klein took part in several research studies published throughout the medical community. His research included topics such as the long-term effects of mesh sacrocolpopexy, the effects of infrared tissue oximetry on the renal artery, and the correlation between the availability of PSA screening and the frequency of reported prostate cancer cases.
He is affiliated with the American Urological Association and is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He is board-certified by the American Board of Urology with a license to practice medicine in both Alabama and Texas.
